Before having our sweet girl, we loved to travel and explore. We found out we were having Bella at the same time we learned we would have the opportunity to move to Italy for three years. We were so excited to take our little bug on our adventures but learned really quickly that we would have to change our planning tactics. The first time we took Bella on an international trip she was 4 months old and we found it was a little more challenging than we had anticipated. We also found there was a real lack of practical advice and resources available, and thus Planes Trains and Babies was created. Along the journey, Katie became an independent family travel advisor with Ciao Bambino Travel-a fabulous agency focused on planning vacations for families. The combination of personal and agency experience has allowed us to be a dynamic resource for families that want to share special trips that they would have done pre-kids with their children. We are excited to share our tips and tricks, destination information, and travel inspiration with you!
